In summer, explore the enchanting nature around the chalet park. Take a walk behind the chalet, climb the mountain through meadows, and visit a 500-year-old farm 2 km into the valley. Enjoy coffee and cake with a mountain view.

Use the summer lift to discover the Riesneralm hiking area with a toboggan run. Visit the Donnersbachklamm and Wörschachklamm natural spots. Explore the Planneralm with mountain lakes and a cheese farm.

Cool off in the crystal-clear swimming lake in Donnersbachwald or visit the larger Putterersee in Irdning for a refreshing swim and play facilities. Enjoy your summer in this beautiful area.

Enjoy hiking

There is a wide range of hiking trails but also ATB/MTB mountain bike tours, the Enduro bike park, and cycling routes. A wide range of booklets on these tours is available in the Donnsersbachwald Toursist Informationdesk, and in the chalet. An hour’s drive away you will find the Gesäuse National Park with various hiking opportunities in the wild nature.
